HOW DO YOU TEACH ADULT BEGINNING KEYBOARD STUDENTS THE SKILLS OF EAR TRAINING, SIGHT SINGING AND HARMONIZATION IN A GROUP SETTING?

Many pianists who began keyboard in their adult years enjoy and benefit from a course that emphasizes listening know-how. My materials usually start as very easy and confidence-inspiring. I like to choose activities that are fairly intensive, covering skills that are fun, yet crucial for good musicianship. I find these concepts are much more efficiently taught and learned in a group, rather than in one-on-one individual lessons.
