VIDEO: Guess The Mystery Piece by Creatively Exploring Its Chords
If you’re a piano teacher or intermediate level student, you may be able to name the famous piece I present in this video, just from hearing its lovely progression (or perhaps from certain hints I've given). Learning a classical piece by first being introduced to its chord progression is fun, and also provides practice with reading chords on lead sheets. In this way, improvising and composing actually helps you, or a student, learn a classical piece.
