COMPANION PIECES for America and Misty

Are you a pianist with eclectic tastes, or a teacher who likes to assign "companion pieces?"

Companion pieces are pieces with certain musical elements in common, so are good to learn concurrently.

Perhaps they're in the same key, or have the same chord progression, a similar form, a preponderance of a certain interval, or the same rhythm pattern used repeatedly, etc. Keyboard teachers who assign companion pieces have discovered the confidence building opportunities they present for students!
