1 Mystery Chord Progression
Download: 16 bars of the "mystery chord progression" from the "mystery piece." The chords are fully notated for the left hand in the bass staff. The treble staff is empty, giving you or a student space to notate an original melody. Enjoy using it creatively!
Mystery Chord Progression and Melody, excerpt, blocked chords
Download: this new melody for a piece Beethoven used is based on the "mystery chord progression" from the "mystery piece 1," arranged with simple blocked chords. This example is the first 16 bars, and includes chord symbols above the staff. Its purpose is to encourage others to create their own versions of a lovely piece, based on its chord progression.
Variation on Paisiello's Melody - full arrangement
Download is two pages. This is the full arrangement of a new melody based on the "mystery chord progression" from the "mystery piece!" Sixteen bars of its simple lead sheet may also be downloaded from this category, so you can compare the two and see how a piece can transform from a lead sheet to a fully fleshed-out arrangement. When you perform the original piece by Beethoven, you may enjoy including this as an additional variation, and/or be encouraged to create your own!
